What is the interactive map and the iMotoneige app?

The interactive map from the Fédération des clubs de motoneigistes du Québec (FCMQ) and the iMotoneige app are essential tools for planning and tracking a snowmobile trip in Québec. They provide access to the extensive network of federated trails, updated in real time by local clubs.

How can you view the federated trail network?

The trail type display mode lets you see the entire federated network of over 30,000 km of trails, maintained by FCMQ member clubs.

How can you quickly check if a trail is open or closed?

A simple and efficient display mode shows trail status at a glance:

  • Green: open trail
  • Red: closed trail

Perfect for a quick check before heading out.

How can you track grooming activity in real time?

The Grooming display mode is the most comprehensive. It shows:

  • Time since the last grooming (colour-coded)

  • Closed trails

  • Groomer movement on open trails

Ideal for planning a ride in the best possible conditions.

Practical features to help you plan

In addition to the different display modes, several useful features are available:

  • Create routes and share them

  • Find points of interest such as snowmobile-accessible restaurants, services, and accommodations

  • View safety alerts

  • Download maps for offline use

The mobile app also shows your real-time location on the map.
