State of trails

*** 15 December 2016 - 10 to 15 cm of snow is expected on the country of the snowmobile during the weekend of 17-18 December. Conditions will be changing by Monday. ***
Following information reflects general trail conditions that may prevails for a specific sector. Those conditions may change rapidly depending on temperature, snow accumulation and traffic. Also they may vary within the same sector from one section to another. For these reasons, Tourisme Lanaudière cannot be held responsible for actual conditions.
Conditions are normally updated on Monday and Thursday, each week.
For detailed trail conditions of the moment for a specific area, you should always call the snowmobile club’s representatives or other sources in that region before leaving.
Can have some water in some places.
CLOSED: Local trail between Pourvoirie Pignon Rouge Mokocan and chemin Manouane (to reach trail # 33). Detour via the trail # 33 (Auberge du Lac Taureau)
Snowmobile club Saint-Donat
CLOSED : Lac Archambault and Lac Ouareau
Snowmobile club Saint-Côme
IMPRATICABLE TRAILS: flooding by sector.
CLOSED: Trail # 343 north of Parc des Chutes-à-Bull due to forestry work.
ATTENTION: Trails in the Rawdon area are impracticable at this time. Dangerous streams and ditches.
Beware: there is ice on the side of the mountains.
Snowmobile club Sainte-Béatrix
Presence of earth in the paths, rivers at your risks, presence of water on the ice.
Due to the thaw, the trails have not been surfaced for 6 days.
Snowmobile Club Bon Vivant
STQ 3 L'Assomption River and L'Achigan River at the Hydro substation: INFRANCHABLE until further notice.
Snowmobile Club Sainte-Julienne
The trail #333 between ste-julienne and st-esprit CLOSED for the rest of the season at the request of the maple producers.
Other trails, the coverage is thin in some places but practicable.
Bon Air Snowmobile Club
The rivers in Saint-Lin and Saint-Roch are IMPRACTICABLE.
The local trail to New Glasgow is closed and will no longer be maintained due to loss of right-of-way.
CLOSED: trail # 43 of the Saint-Ignace / Berthierville crossing due to the accumulation of water.
Caution with gentle temperature the ditches may have dropped. Be careful.
After thawing, there may be water or ice in some places, so be careful!
Thaw does not allow for the desired surfacing. As soon as the temperature permits, the surfacing will resume. It all depends on the weather of Saturday, predicted rain.
